The Gin
Handcrafted in Amsterdam. Made with hand-picked ingredients from the Dutch forest and North Sea dunes. A rich blend flavored by natural botanicals such as French cardamom, Juniper berries, birch bark, bergamot, coriander, Benedict herb and Dutch pine tree needles which give it that sophisticated taste.
All ingredients are carefully selected and the Birchwood is chopped with the pine needles. Filtered withNorth Sea water for it smoothness and depth. After infusing and filtering, Birchwood gin it gets its rich and jade-silver color. With every batch, we produce 400 marked bottles which are filled, labelled and packed by hand.
Story
This journey of two friends, Jeroen Klepper and Sander Rijke, started out – like many others – in the attic or basement. Sander’s wine cellar filled with ideas, knowledge and good ol’curiosity. That’s where the journey and the passion started.
We combine that with science and romance, artisanal production. The flavors that nature has to offer. We went to Amsterdam and made our tinctures, started tasting and Birchwood Gin was born.
